Program Overview

Fall Season is dedicated to providing our athletes with a competitive and fun long-distance racing experience, while also introducing new rowers (novices) to the team.  We train 5-6 days a week depending on the age and experience of the rower. There are several local racing opportunities throughout the season, as well as one travel regatta for experienced athletes who seat race into a qualifying boat. Fall Season is the longer distance head race season and the team focuses on growing as rowers and teammates while building their rowing skills in preparation for Winter and Spring. Our goal for all rowers, new and experienced, is to grow as rowers, as teammates, and as people.

New Rowers (Novices):

Novice rowers will begin the season by training separately from experienced rowers but will have opportunities to row in mixed squad lineups as they progress throughout the season.

Youth interested in coxing should reach out to our Novice Coach, Delany Steele at director@vashoncrew.com.
